Bears, Blankets & Books

In this feel-good team building program, guests will be broken up into teams, and tasked with completing a series of tests in order to become certified to create something truly unique, something handmade, and most importantly, something made with love and care.
After completing a series of tasks, teams will create their own personal, handmade snuggle package to be donated to children at Children’s Hospital, Family Place, or your charity of choice. Each team will have the opportunity to make a teddy bear come to life, hand make blankets that will keep the bear and his new owner warm throughout the night, and write a personal message inside the cover of a book to add for each child.
These handmade, special snuggle packages will warm the hearts of the children who receive them and give them hope for whatever is next. Not only will each team member come together in the creation of something truly handmade, but they will also be shown the importance of the impact they can make working together as a team.

Boo Boxes
There are currently 35,000 children battling cancer. In this come and go activity, your group will have a chance to give back and be a ray of hope to a child by assembling a “Boo Box”. Each care package will contain toys and necessities to brighten a child’s day, with a boo-tiful twist. Guests will also be able to make handwritten words of encouragement, providing emotional support and bringing smiles to the faces of kids battling cancer. All packages will be donated to Scottish Rite Hospital for Children, or your charity of choice, and gifted to the children and families undergoing active treatment.

Building Blocks for Success
Release the creative child inside. Design, build, and tell a story! In this activity guests will work together with LEGO kits to develop a model of their own determination (theme may be provided by client) and a backstory for the presentation of their model.
To accomplish this goal, teams must elect a lead, a designer, an engineer, and a presenter. Together the team must conceive every aspect of their creation and be prepared to give a short presentation within an hour.
To further generate excitement and possibilities, teams may earn funny money to buy special pieces from the store to use or trade. In the end, the Legos will be donated so that less fortunate children can engage in the same creative, childhood play that we so fondly remember.

Cozy Protective Suitcases

In this heartwarming activity guests will champion for children who need basic necessities, many of which we take for granted.
Your guests will help foster kids receive a sturdy and reliable piece of luggage that will carry their new items such as socks, activity books, healthy snacks, and a whole host of other items that children of all ages need to receive.
Guests must collect and assemble items into children’s suitcases to become real-life champions!

Crocks and Socks

The best way to make it anywhere in life is to simply put one foot in front of the other, but without the proper footwear, this can be far more difficult than is necessary. Children who are neglected or abused don’t get to take many possessions as they leave the home: two of them being socks and shoes. Socks help keep little toes warm at night, while sandals keep little feet cool, yet safe, during the hot Texas summer days. Introducing: Crocks and Socks!
Crocks and Socks is a fun ice-breaking game which encourages attendees to interact to find who has the shoe matching theirs. Once they find their “sole-mate”, they get to go pick out socks and prepare a Footwear Bag with their items to be given to someone who could really use them.

Fluff 'N Stuff

Your guests get create a personalized snuggle friend to be donated to the First Responder’s Program. Each person will have the opportunity to make a teddy bear come to life. These special snuggle friends the children receive will truly warm their hearts and give them hope for whatever hardships they are facing. First Responders are the first on the scene and are the ones who help those with a recent accident or hardship cope. Having something soft and fuzzy to offer a small child, allows them to soothe the nerves and allows them to perform their duties.
These handmade, special snuggle friends will truly warm the hearts of the children who receive them and give them hope for whatever is next.

Freedom From Want
The epitome of the American Dream, the Norman Rockwell classic is a far cry from what many experience during the holidays when so many hard-working families struggle to put a modest meal on the table.
The food banks provide the opportunity for families to have a proper dinner when it would have otherwise been impossible. They do this without receiving a single dime of government assistance, which means that they are not constrained by restrictions such as zip codes or income. This means they rely on the generosity and volunteer hours provided by everyday folks to make a simple dream a reality.
In this assembly line program guests will take part in making the American Dream an American Reality for families across the Dallas area by assembling the non-perishable items necessary for a nice dinner.

Gifted Guitars

Get your team strummin’ and groovin with this fun give-back program where you will be assembling and gifting guitars to deserving children in your area.
Guests will collaborate with their team and become their own Stevie Ray Van Gogh by decorating their guitar with a unique style and flare.
After each team has decorated their “music piece” it is time to assemble the stringed instrument and become a true artist.
Once completed it is time to take stage and become part of the “Greatest Band of all Time” move over Eric Clapton.
This is an event any music lover is sure to enjoy, Gifted Guitar is perfect for a fun and meaningful team building experience.

Kicks for Kids
Guests will be greeted with a fun, energetic icebreaker and then divided into teams. As a team, guests will pool their strengths to create and customize a design for the special feet which will be receiving this unique pair of shoes. Guests can also personalize their gift by including an inspirational greeting card.

Petals for a Purpose
Believe it or not, we have a close relationship with the plants around us. Studies have shown that both plants and humans prosper in health and happiness when they work closely together. Simply by being around nature our bodies release endorphins to make us feel better.
In this team building activity guests have the opportunity to spread those good feelings far and wide to the people who deserve it most.
Guests will design their own arrangements, choosing flowers from an array of different flower choices. Making an arrangement with love is more than just putting plants in a vase. Guests will be encouraged to think about color schemes, ribbons, and other decorating options.
After the guests have finalized their lovely floral arrangements, they will then be donated to local nursing and assisted living facilities. It is shown that adding plants to homes and hospices increases overall mood and may even help us to live longer.
Give the gift of life and love with a hand-made floral arrangement and your recipients will not soon be forgetting the good people that thought of them.

Stuff-It! Backpacks

Children are our future, and they need supplies to succeed. Be it school supplies, health and hygiene products, clothes, food, toys, or all of the above, this activity challenges teams to stuff a backpack full of everything a kid needs to thrive.
Go back to school in this entertaining iteration of Academic Olympics! Teams will compete in a variety of schoolroom challenges, earning items to stuff in their donatable backpacks. But this classroom is nothing like the ones you may remember. Teamwork is the lesson of the day, so teammates will have to work together to get that A+ in each “class” in their curriculum.

Wonderland Wrap

Put on those elf ears for this heart-warming giveback activity by fulfilling a toy order for less-fortunate children! Toys will be wrapped, decorated and donated to to give children in need a truly Happy Holiday.
A Christmas Tree will be adorned with ornaments holding the name, age and their likes. Guests will pick an ornament off the tree, find the gift on their list, and task themselves with wrapping, decorating, and labeling their gift to the best of their abilities.
It's easy to wrap a present if you make all your folds and cuts carefully. When you're done with wrapping your gift, you can give the present a unique touch with the provided bows and embellishments. When finished, you'll have a beautiful gift to present to a child in need within the local community.
